Elizabeth's Hair Share

Story

Around 2 years ago, when Elizabeth was 3 years old, She saw a segment on Sunrise raising awareness for children with Alopecia and Wigs for Kids. She asked why the children had no hair and wondered if she could share her hair. We had a big discussion about it and came to the agreement that we would continue to grow her hair and cut it to donate once she started school. This year Elizabeth started school and still wants to share her hair with the children that have none. Elizabeth will donate her lovely hair and we hope some friends and family will donate to the cause through this fundraising page.

(AAAF), is established to be the national Australia body supporting research to find a cure or acceptable treatment for all forms of Alopecia Areata, support those with the disease and their families, and inform the public about all forms of Alopecia Areata.
 
Our Service philosophy is to give each person the best chance of managing their alopecia journey positively, the whole family and each individual needs to be supported to manage their unique experience. By reducing the financial and emotional stress and enabling children, young people, adults and their support networks to develop their strengths and skills, AAAF assists the whole family to achieve that positive journey.
