Story

Alright crew, here's the deal.

I've always admired those who cut their hair for charity as it's something I have always wanted to do but been to scared to. Since I was around 6 years old I've had long hair and it's been my best friend, security blanket and weapon of choice. Even when I got teased in high school bullies couldn't deny the locks, I rememeber once a girl said to me 'You may have nice long hair but you're still ugly' LOL. So now it's 2016 and time to let go of my ego and do some good in the world. My best friend Samara (bae) was diagnosed with Alopecia just over a year ago and since then I have reminded myself to be so grateful for every bad hair day, every time my hairbrush gets caught in a knot, everytime my hair tie snaps; just being grateful for having a head of hair. If she can confidently live without hair and STILL be hotter than me, I can live with chopping 30cm of mine off. In 3 weeks I will be cutting 30cm of virgin un-died hair off of my odly shaped head and donating my ponytail to Australia Alopecia Areata Foundation Inc and just as a bonus would LOVE to raise some money also. All proceeds go directly to the charity. I'm scared as hell but hey, do one thing a day that scares you right?! What do ya say, can you help a sista out?

Love, Jacinta.
