Story
Hello Everyone,
In about a month, I will be traveling to Cambodia to volunteer at a center called New Hope Cambodia. A little information about New Hope and what they do:
New Hope, with the assistance of sponsors and volunteers, treats up to one hundred residents each day for burns, wounds, salmonella poisoning, infections and illnesses such as malnutrition, HIV, hepatitis, typhoid, tuberculosis and dengue fever. Each month, families in need receive food packages and New Hope provides free education to six hundred children and young adults. New Hope also plays an active role in the fight against human and sex trafficking.
I will be teaching English to the children that the center provides services to. I am very excited with this endeavor and hope that with the help of my own donations and your donations; the center will be able to provide more services to families and children in need in the future. If you can help even with $1, I'd be most grateful. I normally don't like asking for help, especially with monetary help but this is a cause I strongly believe in. I also want to admit that I'm always amazed at the power of fund raising when others do it and never believed in my own powers to do anything of this sort. So I've set up this fund raising as a goal and dream of mine to see if it'd materialize. If you can't donate, that's ok too. I'd be happy to bring more awareness to New Hope Cambodia. :)

Our Mission….. to restore hope, dignity and promise to these once proud and prosperous peoples. Mondul 3 Village, Siem Reap….. one of the poorest slum areas in Cambodia. A broken community of army families, karaoke/sex workers and displaced men women and children.
New Hope Cambodia is a grass roots, hands on and non government organization. “Whilst 'free education for all' is our priority, an important step in breaking the cycle of poverty, we cannot ignore the chronic malnutrition; ill health and appalling living conditions our students and families face every day”.
Today, New Hope, with the assistance of sponsors and volunteers, also provides free medical treatment for up to one hundred residents per day for illnesses such as chronic malnutrition, HIV, hepatitis, typhoid, tuberculosis and dengue fever and supports over 300 families on a food program
- Food supplies and support to 320families
- Baby formula for 100 malnourished babies.
- Education for 1000 students
- Regular classes are held for Mothers on Family Planning, Child care, and Food Hygiene; and delivers awareness of gambling, drug and Child trafficking issues.
