Sam's run for New Hope Cambodia!
Hey everyone, thanks for checking out my page!
I will be doing the Great South Run, UK (10 miles) on October 30th 2011, to raise money for New Hope Cambodia. I visted the school school myself earlier this year and feel it is a very worthy course and your donations will make a HUGE difference to the people of this very poor community.
Check out thier website for more details: https://www.newhopecambodia.com/index.php
NOTE: The charity is not registered with the UK hence why everything is in Australian Dollars, but don't let that deter you as you can donate from any country! ![]()

Our Mission….. to restore hope, dignity and promise to these once proud and prosperous peoples. Mondul 3 Village, Siem Reap….. one of the poorest slum areas in Cambodia. A broken community of army families, karaoke/sex workers and displaced men women and children.
New Hope Cambodia is a grass roots, hands on and non government organization. “Whilst 'free education for all' is our priority, an important step in breaking the cycle of poverty, we cannot ignore the chronic malnutrition; ill health and appalling living conditions our students and families face every day”.
Today, New Hope, with the assistance of sponsors and volunteers, provides free medical treatment for up to one hundred residents per day for illnesses such as chronic malnutrition, HIV, hepatitis, typhoid, tuberculosis and dengue fever.
Every month, families in need receive food packages and baby formula. Regular classes are held for Mothers on Family Planning, Child care, and Food Hygiene; crisis counseling is also offered. New Hope provides free education to five hundred children and young adults, and delivers awareness of gambling, drug and Child trafficking issues.
Please help us to continue to give these humble families a future. For further info please visit www.newhopecambodia.com
