Twilight Festival for ASRC
Story
Ivanhoe Girls' Class of 2016 presents Twilight Festival for Asylum Seeker Resource Centre. On the evening of Friday 13th May the school will light up with stalls, performances and activities to delight festival guests as students raise awareness and funds for the work of the ASRC, Australia's leading provider of aid and advocacy to asylum seekers living in the community.
Enjoy food, art, auctions, prizes, drama, music and storytelling about the work of the ASRC. All funds raised directly support the work of this Centre, with which year 12 students have directly engaged over a three-week period leading up to the Festival.
Everyone is warmly invited to Ivanhoe Girls' Performing Arts Centre on Friday 13 May, 5.00pm-9.00pm. All donations received with thanks.

The Asylum Seeker Resource Centre (ASRC) is both a place and a movement.
As an independent not for profit organisation, we are owned and run by our community. Our programs empower people seeking asylum to maximise their own physical, mental and social well-being. As a movement, we mobilise and unite communities to create lasting social and policy change for people seeking asylum in Australia.
We assist over 7,000 people seeking asylum each year from our centres in Footscray and Dandenong, Victoria.
