Story
Hi there!
I'm making a difference and running for a cause that's close to my heart. I’d appreciate any contribution, big or small.
In 2015, we plan on leading an expedition team to climb Mt Halgurd (Iraq's second highest mountain) in order to raise awareness in Australia for the people of Iraq and Iraqi Kurdistan. The ethnic civil war is causing havoc in Southern Iraq and crimes against humanity have never been more prevelant and terrifying since the 2003 invasion. We would like to raise pre-expedition funds here for Amnesty International who we feel have done a wonderful job here and internationally in raising the profile of Iraqi civilians caught up in this horrific conflict.
