Story
On March 10th Sharon & Liz Crean were held up by 3 armed men and a woman in their own home in Nairobi, Kenya. They were terrorised including being bound up, told to lay on their stomaches and then covered in blankets. While they feared for their lives the gunmen ransacked their home of personal belongings, computers, video cameras and other tools they use for their work. Pete, Sharon & Liz volunteer to work with underprivileged young people in Kenya and are reliant on the donations of friends and family each month to provide for their basic needs.
This page has been set up to help them raise the funds to get the tools they need to keep doing their work. They need some computers to start with. Would you be willing to partner with them and help them get back on their feet. They would also like to be able to keep up with insurance in a country that faces many security challenges.

Beyond Water (Global Development Group - J380)
Each day 5,000 children die because of waterborne diseases. BeyondWater works with local communities to provide tanks, guttering, deep bore wells, latrines and hand washing programs.
These are provided through schools, medical facilities, orphanages and remote communities.
