Story
When it's healthy silence...
How many women do you know who find themselves in an abusive situation but don't feel strong enough to get themselves out of it? Whether it be verbal, physical or sexual. To have a voice. To take a stand.
On Sunday 15 January I will be entering in to a period of silence and reflection to honour them.
While many, many good men have never abused women and don't support people who do, there are others who treat women badly. Very badly. This needs to end.
To help put a stop to this needless, hurtful and unfair treatment, please make a donation to the White Ribbon Foundation today.

White Ribbon Australia
White Ribbon Australia is a unique male-led primary prevention organisation that works to stop violence against women. All forms of violence are unacceptable. White Ribbon is working to prevent the most common and pervasive form of male violence – that towards women. White Ribbon believes the prevention of violence against women will change society for the better.
White Ribbon believes in the capacity of the individual to change and to encourage change in others. It believes that our generation can and must work towards stopping violence against women so that all women can live in safety, free from violence and abuse.
Through an annual awareness campaign and primary prevention initiatives, White Ribbon works to change the attitudes and behaviours that lead to violence against women.
