Story
Hi everybody,
My son Luke and I are embarking on a walk for life beginning on the 1st of January 2014. We will be walking from our home in Rye, Victoria to the Gold Coast, Queensland. We aim to complete the 2000km journey in about 40 days in memory of loved ones who we have sadly lost to suicide and depression, to raise awareness of the R U OK? Foundation/RUOK Day and to promote the fact that a simple conversation can and may save a life.
We will be out there chatting to everyone we meet along the way, encouraging people to reach out to friends and family who may be struggling. Please spread the word about what we are doing and why and if you'd like to donate to our cause and help the R U OK? Foundation grow, we would welcome any contribution, great or small, that you could make. Donations made through this platform are secure and will be remitted directly through to the R U OK? Foundation.
