Story
We are the 2026 Premier’s Anzac Prize recipients – a team of Queensland students and teachers united by a shared commitment to remembrance, service, and giving back
As part of our journey, we are proudly fundraising for Mates4Mates, an organisation supported by RSL Queensland that provides vital support to current and former Australian Defence Force members who are impacted by service-related injuries, including physical injuries, post-traumatic stress, and mental health challenges.
The Premier’s ANZAC Prize is a transformative educational and commemorative experience that allows students to walk the battlefields of Europe, stand at memorials such as Villers-Bretonneux, and deepen their understanding of the sacrifices made by Australian service personnel. Through historical research, storytelling, and remembrance, we honour those who served — past and present.
Fundraising for Mates4Mates is our way of ensuring that remembrance is not only about looking back, but also about supporting those who continue to live with the impacts of service today. Every dollar raised contributes to practical, life-changing programs that help veterans and their families recover, reconnect, and move forward.
