Story
The Australian Industry Trade College enrols young people who desire to be the best apprentices and tradesmen and women in industry. The International Service Project enables young people in the College to use their technical talents to improve the lives of critically poor families in Cambodia. Join us to make a difference to their lives by providing a donation of $10, $50, $100, $200 or more.
The AITC Cambodian Service Project will include a team of 30 young people and staff who will travel to Siem Reap in Cambodia to join a Cambodian non-government organisation, New Hope Cambodia. New Hope is also sponsored by Rotary Gold Coast. We hope to make a difference in the lives of these Cambodian families by providing:
· 2-3 homes (we can build these in two weeks)
· a refurbishment of a medical centre
· assistance in learning and providing resources in a local school of 800 children
· training in simple carpentry, plumbing and hairdressing skills
Your gift will be directly invested in this project. Thank you in advance for supporting us, we look forward to sharing the progress of the team.
