Story
We have created this page because we are passionate about giving back and making a difference. We have turned running into an opportunity to raise awareness for a special cause that we will continually support. We are inspired by the commitment and work the National Breast Cancer Foundation have achieved thus far, in striving to reach the mission of zero deaths from Breast Cancer by 2030.
“8 Australians lose their life to Breast Cancer every day. That’s the equivalent to one sister, mother, daughter, father, brother, son or friend losing their life every three hours.Thankfully, research is changing the stats. Since 1994, five year survival rates have increased by 15%. But the job’s not done. More research is needed".
As proud Mother’s Day Classic Community Ambassadors for 2019, we will be actively participating in the Mother's Day Classic 8km run to share our passion and support for this special cause. We also hope to continue to raise awareness and funds for Breast Cancer research throughout this year, as Jennifer will be taking on the New York Marathon in November this year!
Please help us by giving whatever you can using the 'Give Now' button. The more people that know about National Breast Cancer Foundation, the greater their impact, so please also spread the word by sharing this page with your friends and family.
Thank you in advance for your generosity, it means a lot!
National Breast Cancer Foundation
The National Breast Cancer Foundation is the only national body that funds life-changing breast cancer research with money raised entirely by the Australian public. Research is the only way to prevent deaths, and improve how breast cancer is diagnosed, managed and treated. By funding only world-class research, the National Breast Cancer Foundation is working towards a goal of zero deaths from breast cancer.
