Story
Aussie are proud to announce we are supporting super food rescue charity, OzHarvest! And we need all of team Aussie to help them to feed more Aussies in need.
Every single $1 donated to OzHarvest will allow them to rescue and deliver a meal to someone in need around Australia.
Furthar, every $1 invested in OzHarvest achieves a greater than $5.68 social value returned to charities, charity clients, donors and the environment. The IMC funding provided had an incredible social and environmental impact across regional and metropolitan locations Australia wide, including:
- Providing a broad range of high quality nutritious food to the vulnerable in the community, ensuring massive immediate and ongoing health and wellbeing benefits to children, youth, men and women.
- Our regular food deliveries to local charities enables them to reduce their food spend and redirect vital funding into education, employment and rehabilitation programs for their clients.
- Creating opportunities through food for connection with socially isolated members of the community.

OzHarvest is Australia’s leading food rescue organisation on a mission to ‘Nourish our Country’ by stopping good food from going to waste and delivering it to charities that help feed people in need. OzHarvest’s yellow vans are out and about in communities every day, collecting quality surplus food from a network of donors, including supermarkets, cafes, delis, restaurants, corporate kitchens, airlines, hotels, and other food businesses.
Through our education programs and advocacy work, OzHarvest hopes to create positive change and inspire others to help reach the national target of halving food waste by 2030
