Story
My name is Ella-Rose, I am almost 10 years old. About a month ago I decided that after many years of growing my hair very long, that I would like to cut it short. My mum asked me if I was sure as it was a huge decision to cut my hair off and that if it was what I really wanted maybe we could donate my hair to kids who need it instead of just throwing it away! So after researching places to donate it we decided to donate it to AAAF who will send it off to make a wigs for medical purposes, they then get the money from the wig makers and donate it to a charity called wigs for kids. we decided to set up this fundraiser as well so that I can make even more of a difference with your help.

(AAAF), is established to be the national Australia body supporting research to find a cure or acceptable treatment for all forms of Alopecia Areata, support those with the disease and their families, and inform the public about all forms of Alopecia Areata.
Our Service philosophy is to give each person the best chance of managing their alopecia journey positively, the whole family and each individual needs to be supported to manage their unique experience. By reducing the financial and emotional stress and enabling children, young people, adults and their support networks to develop their strengths and skills, AAAF assists the whole family to achieve that positive journey.
