Story
Hi there!
On my 11th birthday, in May 2016, I am going to cut my hair, which needs to be 30cm in length, and donate it to the Wigs for Kids program. This program was established to provide wigs for young kids my age living with Alopecia.
I've always had long hair, and apart from the odd kid that teases me about 'looking like a girl', I think my hair is cool.
I love to play Rugby Union, Baseball, participate in Athletics and ride my BMX and skateboard! I'll be able to do all of these things without my hair. I'm hoping that the wig created from my hair, can give another child my age the confidence to do things they love too without feeling self conscious.
I’d appreciate any contribution, big or small.
