Bondor Fundraiser - Kids Under Cover - Cubby House Challenge
Story
Please contribute towards a collective bid for the Bondor® ‘Eco-Cubby’ in the 2015 Cubby House Challenge to support youth homelessness charity, Kids Under Cover.
Bondor® has teamed up with micro-living specialists Build It Yourself and architect Fraser Paxton, to construct an ecofriendly cubby that takes advantage of Bondor’s InsulLiving® building system with its striking design and sustainable features. The Eco-Cubby features InsulWall® walls and ceiling, a solar powered LED skylight and a roof top garden.
The Kids Under Cover Cubby House Challenge brings together members of the building community to design, build and decorate creative cubby houses for public viewing and finally an auction on Friday 27th March.
All entries will be on display at the Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show from 25 March to 29 March 2015 with the auction taking place on Friday 27 March from 6pm-8pm.

Kids Under Cover
Being homeless can happen to anyone.
On any given night, there are more than 116,000 people experiencing homelessness in Australia and nearly half of these are under the age of 25.*
For more than 30 years, Kids Under Cover has been working to prevent youth homelessness.
We know that if young people are not properly supported when they first experience homelessness, they have a higher chance of becoming homeless in their adult lives. Around 40% of homeless adults were first homeless as young people.**
In our work, we focus on early identification and prevention of youth homelessness, creating a proactive rather than a reactive approach to this very complex issue. We do this by building homes and providing scholarships for homeless and at-risk young people.
