Story

This year on October 26th, MHN Design Union will be joining St John's Community Services Roughtober fundraiser, and sleeping rough for one night in Darlinghurst to raise funds for the homeless in Sydney.


As we design and document homes every day, the issue of homelessness is close to our hearts and so we would appreciate every contribution, big or small, to help make a difference for those who are needing it most.
Donations are tax deductible and secure, and will be remitted directly to the Rough Edges Campaign.

    St John's Community Services Limited (Rough Edges)

    St John's Community Services Limited was established to fund and maintain a number of targeted services for the disadvantaged and marginalised in the Darlinghurst and Kings Cross area. Including:

    Rough Edges Cafe - a place for the street community to have a coffee, enjoy a free meal and spend time together in a safe and welcoming environment

    Banksia Women -  a safe, judgement free space for women who have experienced domestic and family violence

    St Johns Legal Service - we contract a solicitor to assist those needing help with free legal services and referrals

    Community Assistance and Partnership Program (CAPP) - hospitality and practical assistance is provided by social workers for those seeking to exit the cycle of poverty
