Hi there!
We're making a difference and taking part in a cause that's close to our hearts. We’d appreciate any contribution, big or small.
Donations made through this platform are secure and will be remitted directly through to Foodbank Northern Territory.
‘The Territory Walks Against Hunger’ – ‘more than a thought for food’.
On Saturday 11th of October the Territory will 'Walk Against Hunger' in Darwin. The walk will start at 8.30am from the Darwin Trailer Boat Club and takes a gentle 7km route out to Dudley Point at Eastpoint and back. (See details below)
The "Darwin Trailers Boat Club” Team is on a mission!
We want to help Foodbank Northern Territories to raise $10,000 towards purchasing staple products for families and individuals that require assistance through their 110 registered agencies, such as St Vincent De Paul, Anglicare, Salvation Army, Mission Australia, Red Cross, Marrara Christian School, Komilda College and many more.
To join the ‘Darwin Trailers Boat Club' team, Click here and either log in with your existing GoFundraise account or click 'SIGN UP', you will then be taken through the Fundraising Page Creation process.
Choose to 'Join a Team' when selecting your 'page type', and then search for ‘Darwin Trailers’ and click 'Join' and follow the rest of the prompts.

Foodbank Northern Territory
"The Territory Walks Against Hunger" – More than a thought for food.
Foodbank NT is a Not for Profit organisation and is the largest food relief charity in the Northern Territory, providing the equivalent of 220,000 meals a year to people in crisis. Operating since 2010, Foodbank NT is part of a national, non-denominational organisation with warehouses in all capitals, and numerous regional centres.
Farmers, manufacturers, retailers and the public contribute food and groceries including stock that is surplus to need, close to expiry or out of specification and straightforward donations. In addition we partner with industry to manufacture essential staple foods.The food goes to charities and community groups, which use it in prepared meals, hampers and emergency relief packages. These food relief agencies range from national charities, such as The salvation army, Red Cross and St Vincent DePaul to local church's groups, soup kitchens and schools.
We Need Your Help
Our aim is to raise much needed funds to continue to supply the staple foods for our agencies and schools.
Whilst the Walk Against Hunger is free for participants we would like to encourage everyone to donate funds towards this cause, or even better create a 'Fundraising Page' and become a Fundraiser for Foodbank NT.
All you have to do is click on the green 'Start Fundraising' button above, then select 'Making a Difference' as your 'Fundraising Occasion' 
Then you can join any of the teams taking part,(Hunger Busters, Anglicare, Woolworths, etc.) OR create an Individual Page and fundraise via that. If you get stuck click here for a helpful video.
