Story
Hi there,
My name is Evelyn Drinias, I am 11 years old and I want to create awareness and research for a cure for Lupus.
Lupus is an invisible chronic illness, it is an inflamatory disease that is caused by the autoimmunity. Lupus is a disease where the immune system mistakes the own body tissues as foreign invaders and attack them.
My friends (listed below) are supported me in the City 2 Surf and assisted to raise funds for this chronic illness:

We completed the City 2 Surf and riased funds, now I want to continue raising funds to create awareness and research. Funding for research is much needed so researchers can provide sufferers with a comfortable lifestyle and relief from this disease.

Lupus Foundation
Lupus Foundation is the most active lupus organisation in Australia with international recognition across the globe. The organisation, run by volunteers, is self-funded receiving no state or federal funding; hence, we rely heavily on fundraisers and the kindness of others to donate. ALL our services are FREE of charge which includes are newsletter, Lupus ‘The Wolf Within’.
The Foundation’s primary objective is to provide quality care and services; educating and supporting people with lupus, their families, carers, health professionals and the general public in all States. Along with, continuing to research and support research for better treatment with the ultimate goal of one day finding a cure for lupus.
