I'm Shaving My Hair for Cancer Research!
Story
In Febuary 2008 my beautiful boyfriend was Nick was shockingly diagnosed with a Massive Brain Tumour (pilocytic astrocytoma which was benign). I'm so grateful that he had a successful surgery and that it was removed not long after.
When the diagnoses was made at 5pm on the Friday afternoon, we were all terrified. When the surgeon came down for a consult at 9 that eveing, he wasn't too optimistic about time being on our side. This story is a long one, and i can always fill you in on the details (as i dont think they will ever leave) but things started to look up when the surgery was booked for the following monday, giving the surgeons time to do some poking and proding.
I'm still so thankfull that the surgery was a success, however, since then, i have strongly wanted to do my part to help raise money for this worthy cause in honour of my amazing partner and his strenght during this time.
Please help me raise money by sponsering me to shave my hair!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
