Save a Horse Australia Inc
Save a Horse Australia was established in 2001 as a private equine rescue and sanctuary however, in 2009 it was registered as a charity to allow the organisation to fundraise. Save A Horse Australia was established to take in unwanted, neglected, abused and slaughter bound horses, rehabilitating them and finding them the perfect forever home. All of the horses that come into our care are given then very best specialist treatment and when its time for them to find new homes they go out under life time adoption contracts. This means that if the new owner can no longer keep the adopted horse, it must come back to us for rehoming. We do this to make sure that even horse who passes through our doors never falls into the cycle of neglect again. We monitor all adopted horses between 1 - 4 times per year to make sure they are going well in their new homes.
Please help to rescue more and more neglected, abused and unwanted horses.
