Going Purple For Pancreatic Cancer
Going Purple For Pancreatic Cancer
Story
Hello Kind People!
I'm making a difference with the support of so many people as we are campaigning for a cause that's close to our hearts.
In it's second year, the Going Purple For Pancreatic Cancer will see over 800 local Sydney Footballer's don purple football socks on the weekend of the 25th and 26th of June, 2016 as they fight for a 'GOAL' and help beat cancer.
Pancreatic Cancer has one of the lowest survival rates of all types of cancers the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare report on. With the median survival rate being between 3 and 6 months.
This campaign is in memory of our dearest Nata Ferraro whose courage and strength to battle this cancer with such grace, propels us to fight for a change and be people of change.
100% of your donations will go straight to research and aid Avners Foundations goal to double the amount of Pancreatic Cancer survivers by 2020.
Every single dollar that you donate goes directly into research.
Donations made through this platform are secure and will be remitted directly through to my charity of choice.
So, defend, attack and support the goal to beat cancer and 'Be the Change that you want to see in the world' - Ghandi

PanKind Australian Pancreatic Cancer Foundation Limited
Pankind’s mission is to triple the pancreatic cancer survival rate by 2030 and significantly improve the quality of life for those impacted by the disease.
Together with our partners and community, we’re confronting pancreatic cancer head-on. Making progress a reality through groundbreaking research, compassionate support, and tireless advocacy. Because when the stakes are this high, action isn’t just important—it’s essential and urgent.
Pancreatic cancer is the toughest common cancer, and for too long, progress has lagged behind. Survival rates have barely improved in decades, leaving people diagnosed feeling overwhelmed and uncertain. We’re determined to change this. We are the only Australian organisation solely dedicated to improving outcomes for those affected by pancreatic cancer.
