Jayden Tidbold

Hi, my name is Jayden. I'm 16 years old and a student at the Australian Industry Trade College here in the Redlands. Through the college I am going to become a Carpenter by doing an apprenticeship this year whilst finishing my high school certificate. Our college is sending a team of 20 students, under the supervision of a team of teachers and qualified tradespeople, to Cambodia for an International Service Project to build houses and a trade school in the town of Siem Reap. 

I am planning to use my school holidays to work with this team and am raising money to help me pay for the building materials, tools and labour costs in helping the poor get into a house of their own and create a trade centre where they can learn skills for themselves.

This is the third time the college has participated in this project and the new homes and facilities already constructed have changed the lives of hundreds of local Cambodian people. Together with Sunrise New Hope we will perform maintenance on previously build projects and create new buildings that the future teams will add to.

As young apprentices we are raising funds toward our flights, accommodation, and the construction projects in Cambodia. I would like to ask if you would make a donation to assist me in getting to Cambodia where I can contribute toward this wonderful heartfelt project.
