Blackmores Sydney Marathon

             I felt very nervous when I pressed the enter button to run the marathon in September but it’s an ambition I've had for a few years so I thought no time like the present and turning 40 next year spurred me on even more! Some of you may or may not know that Noah was diagnosed as being on the Autistic Spectrum at 18 months old. To see him now you may never know, he's happy, gorgeous, intelligent and fun loving but still we sense that he quite often doesn't view the world as you or I do.

            Without the support of the early intervention Noah received we very much doubt we would be where we are now. It's not always been an easy journey (we often wonder how we made it in one piece!!) but the support and care we found in "LIFESTART" was just second to none.

             Lifestart, a registered charity, provides early childhood intervention and school aged services to children with additional needs, including Down syndrome, Autism Spectrum Disorder, global developmental delay and rare genetic disorders. Lifestart provides a family centred approach to meeting the needs of children living with disability and their families.  It is based on the concept of partnership with children, families and carers to assist and empower them to participate meaningfully and inclusively in our community.   

            We feel very lucky to have been a part of Lifestart and its my turn to say a very very heartfelt      THANKYOU.......Please please please help me raise some funds for such a amazing charity.
