Story
Hi there!
I'm making a difference and running for a cause that's close to my heart.
I had the privilege of traveling to Cambodia with my family in 2016 and while it’s a beautiful country the level of poverty and conditions of homes left its mark on me. I will be travelling to Cambodia this year with a team from The Australian Industry Trade College through "New Hope Cambodia" to participate in an International Service Project to use our talents and skills to create opportunity for critically poor families.
We are undertaking a number of community development programs that provide emergency support for families in critical need.
1. Building homes for destitute families who have no safe place to reside.
2. Building structures / roof covered areas in school grounds to ensure that the children have adequate protection.
3. Renovating existing structures to ensure that they are maintained for longevity.
To undertake these projects and provide the building materials, I ask for your support of any contribution, big or small as it all helps to make a difference in the lives of the Cambodian people.
The opportunity to step outside your world and to be of service to somebody in need can be a life altering experience.
Donations made through this platform are secure and will be remitted directly through to my charity of choice.

NEW HOPE CAMBODIA

Our Mission….. to restore hope, dignity and promise to these once proud and prosperous peoples. Mondul 3 Village, Siem Reap….. one of the poorest slum areas in Cambodia. A broken community of army families, karaoke/sex workers and displaced men women and children.
New Hope Cambodia is a grass roots, hands on and non government organization. “Whilst 'free education for all' is our priority, an important step in breaking the cycle of poverty, we cannot ignore the chronic malnutrition; ill health and appalling living conditions our students and families face every day”.
Today, New Hope, with the assistance of sponsors and volunteers, also provides free medical treatment for up to one hundred residents per day for illnesses such as chronic malnutrition, HIV, hepatitis, typhoid, tuberculosis and dengue fever and supports over 300 families on a food program
- Food supplies and support to 320families
- Baby formula for 100 malnourished babies.
- Education for 1000 students
- Regular classes are held for Mothers on Family Planning, Child care, and Food Hygiene; and delivers awareness of gambling, drug and Child trafficking issues.
