Story
Hello Everyone!!!
I am raising money for my favourite organisation MISSION MEXICO!
On July 17th I will be shaving my head in support of Mission Mexico. Lets be honest here... I have a HUGE head, this is not going to be a fashion statement and quite frankly I’m going to look ridiculous. So in admitting this I have decided to make it a little more fun and hopefully raise a little bit more. Instead of the simple, boring shave of the head I have decided that with each donation you can suggest how you want it cut - it can be shaved, or a colourful mohawk, even a bowl cut etc etc. Whichever design gains the most money that is how I will have my hair for at least one week, I promise not to change it.
To add a little more- if anyone, or any group, is willing to donate $500 in one go you can be the lucky one to both design and cut it, you can even write your name if you want. The only rule is it needs to be short because the full length of hair will be going to make a wig for people with alopecia (aaaf.org.au)
Misión México provides a loving, secure family home for children and teens who have been abused, neglected, orphaned or abandoned, and mostly from backgrounds of extreme poverty. They receive no ongoing financial support from the government, so rely solely on the generosity of individuals and businesses. Despite receiving no official help they have taken care of over 250 kids who are kicking goals not only in Mexico but all around the world. All the kids at the home are enrolled in kindergarten, school or university. They are very focused on education and family values and you can see instantly when you meet any of the kids they have been brought up in the best environment, they are well mannered an some of the best kids I have ever met!
Please consider maybe not having those two fancy cocktails this weekend and instead put that $40 towards this amazing cause. Every dollar counts, even $10 will go a long, long way!

Mexican Children's Development (Mision Mexico) (Global Development Group - J731N)
Misión México (J731N) is a Global Development Group (GDG) approved aid and development project and has come a long way since 2000, when Australian founders Pamela and Alan Skuse made a life-changing decision and built a haven bringing safety and love to hundreds of children and young adults in Tapachula, Mexico.
Today, the organisation has grown into three children and youth homes, a community outreach centre and a non-for-profit hotel and surf school. Together, they aim to break cycles of poverty, abuse and inequality; providing opportunities for every child and youth that they care for to succeed. Through long-term solutions like education, practical and emotional care, and community development, they provide tools and opportunities for children and youth to advance in every aspect of their lives, becoming the best that they can be.
Together they are Misión México Foundation!
