MacCap: Macquarie Fifth Grader Challenge
MacCap: Macquarie Fifth Grader Challenge
Story

Macquarie Capital, are you smarter than a fifth grader?
Compete against your colleagues, other Macquarie groups and try to compete against fifth graders in The Macquarie Fifth Grader Challenge.
You’ll have 60 seconds to answer as many maths questions as possible, and can make as many attempts as you like. The competition will open online from 4.30pm on Thursday 15 and run for 24 hours. Two players from each group will also play off in a live battle from 5.00pm on Level 10, 50 Martin Place.
Funds raised will go towards UNICEF’s education programs in Zimbabwe. As part of Foundation Week’s special ‘2 for 1’ offer, funds raised by each Group for this event will be double matched (up to $5,000). Fundraising above $5,000 will be matched in the usual way under Macquarie’s staff support policy.
To get started, donate a minimum of $A30 via the green donate button.
In the donation process please keep 'I would like to know more about this cause' selected in order to provide 3P Learning with your full name and email, to set you up with a Mathletics account.
The group with the highest donations pre-competition will also benefit from a ‘math genius’, so be sure to register early.
The winning groups for each challenge will have the opportunity to send a staff member on a 3P Learning-funded visit to a UNICEF education project in Zimbabwe departing in late February 2016. Winners have the ability to nominate an alternative Macquarie colleague if they are unable to attend.
