Do you want to create rewarding dreams?
By no fault of their own, many children in Sydney are still facing adverse disadvantage simply because of where they are born. The hardships of poverty, abuse and social neglect are still present and preventing children from realising their potential. Make a Difference is changing this by working with children from South-West Sydney in need to create dreams, and fulfil those dreams.
We are running in the 2015 City 2 Surf to raise much needed funds to make this a reality. With your generous support we will be able to continue to create rewarding dreams.
Who will you help?
The young people that we assist come from broken homes and often cannot receive help elsewhere, yet all have amazing potential. Through mentoring, financial assistance and assisting in times of crisis, we partner with children in a substantive and long-term manner to help them with their own journeys to self-fulfilment.

We are dedicated to a small group of 'hard-to-reach' children and young people living in highly challenging circumstances, who generally will not get involved with support agencies.
We provide a group of caring adults and children for them to feel a part of, from when they’re around 10 years old until they grow up, and beyond - we find it changes their futures. We also provide a range of other supports, including emotional support during crises, and financial assistance where needed, to our young people. They have three weekend camps a year – the highlight of their year – reunion days, a Christmas picnic, and other events.
We are a small, grass roots organisation that depends heavily on our amazing volunteers and supporters. We operate primarily in south-west Sydney, and the Shoalhaven area.
