Men’s Health Swan Hill

The Massive Murray Paddle is a 5 day/404km paddling event from Yarrawonga to Swan Hill from 19th to the 23rd November 2018 to raise funds for each paddler’s chosen local community programs.

Greg Roberts, CEO of Murray Downs Golf & Country Club Limited, will take on the challenge for the third time under the Swan Hill Men’s Health team name to raise funds for the Swan Hill District Health - Health Promotion Department. Greg's brother has battled liver and bowel cancer at age 45, and recently his paddling partner, and friend, at 47 was diagnosed with bowel cancer. Greg is eager to raise awareness of the importance of men looking after their health.

The money raised previously has helped the Swan Hill District Health - Health Promotion team develop a program focused on educating men about their health and we are targeting another $15,000 to continue the program for a further 2 years.

Greg will take on the challenge as a solo full distance paddler and is more determined than ever! Your help is critical to the sustainability of the program.
