Muttadore's Weight Loss Campaign
Muttadore's Weight Loss Campaign
Story
This is Muttadore's weight loss campaign supporting the Sydney Dogs and Cats Home, it has started on the 1st March 2013 and goes for 12 months! For each kilo Muttadore loses (Amanda Walshaw) you can donate directly for much needed funding on refurbishment of the night time kennels firstly and other worthy projects to be detailed as the campaign goes on. Muttadore needs to lose 20kg.
The dietitian responsible for verifying correct weight mesurements is Dana Winik of Munch Dietetics, www.munchdietetics.com.au.
Weight has always been an issue for me since the treatment for ovarian cancer was swiftly handed out back in my late 20s, as with any treatment for the big C, there are always ongoing side affects, and one of them was weight gain.
So its time to turn this around forever, and make it a win win stituation for me and the Sydney Dogs and Cats Home.
The Goal of Sydney Dogs and Cats Home is to prevent the unnecessary euthanasia of healthy, loving, domestic pets, young or old, or with special needs, by re-homing them and giving them a second chance at life.
Sydney Dogs and Cats Home Inc. was established in 1946. Originally a pound for three council areas, the then-known St George Animal Shelter, became a charitable not-for-profit organisation in 1999, with the aim of becoming an active re-homing facility for all suitable lost and abandoned dogs and cats.
Today the Home services 11 council areas across Sydney (Botany, Hornsby, Hurstville, Kogarah, Leichhardt, Marrickville, Randwick, Rockdale, Waverley, Willoughby and Woollahra) and receives up to 4000 lost, abandoned and surrendered animals each year.

Kind regards and thank you for your support!

On behalf of the Sydney Dogs and Cats Home, Muttadore is selling raffle tickets for 2 dog hampers and 2 cat hampers, plus a $25 Westfield voucher as 5th Prize to be drawn at Pet-O - Annandale on Chirstmas Eve.
Tickets are only $2 each or $4 for three tickets... This is a weight loss steal of a price. Get your tickets now, contact Muttadore on 0407078123 or email awalshaw@bigpond.net.au to reserve your ticket.
For those who have promised pledges whether that is $2 a kg, $5 a kg, $10 a kg or even $1kg please donate now, so that the Sydney Dogs and Cats Home can continue the work on refurbishment of night time kennels (working on better insulation) and the continual development of the dog behavourial/play/exercise yard. This will be used to assess dog behaviour and is so important for the home to choose the right family or person for pet adoption.
Sydney Dogs and Cats Home Inc
Sydney Dogs and Cats Home is a council pound and Not-For-Profit community facility.
At Sydney Dogs and Cats Home our mission is simple – to prevent the unnecessary euthanasia of healthy, loving, domestic pets, young, old or with special needs, by rehoming them and giving them a second chance at life, and to provide meaningful experiences for at-risk members of the community.
The Home has been taking care of Sydney’s lost and abandoned animals since 1946. As a charity organisation and an active rehoming facility we pride ourselves on never placing a time limit on any animal awaiting adoption.
