Elsie’s Big Chop
Elsie’s Big Chop
Story
Hey there.
Elsie has decided to cut her very long hair so it can be made into a wig for someone who has lost their hair due to illness. She has chosen to donate her hair to a child in Israel via the organisation Zichron Menachem (https://zichron.org/en/hair-donation).
In the lead up to the big chop on 25 October 2019, Elsie is raising money for the Robert Connor Dawes Foundation (https://rcdfoundation.org) in memory of our dear friend Gideon who passed away earlier this year. Gideon was such a special boy and we are and will continue to be inspired by his warm and friendly nature and his incredible strength.
If you would like to support her efforts - and support important research and services for children with brain cancer you can make an online donation and post a message to Elsie.
Donations made through this platform are secure and will be remitted directly through to the Robert Connor Dawes Foundation.
Elsie thanks you for your support!

Brain tumour research is on the verge of exciting breakthroughs. We want to enable researchers to further understand and more completely treat brain tumours, including earlier detection, surgery and post surgery treatments (radiation & chemotherapy).
CARE:
Supporting young people with rehabilitation therapies and home assistance commonly not covered by insurance.
DEVELOPMENT:
Inspiring the next generation of brain cancer practitioners & researchers. Through awareness programs, Phd Scholarships and youth engagement activities, we're putting brain matters on the map.
