The Frockalicious Black Tie Ball

Story

I originally started this fundraising event as a planned afternoon get-together  for my female friends and thought why not raise some funds for a fantastic local charity while I'm at it.

As it was originally going to be for women only, I also thought why not get out that dress we all have in our wardrobe, you know the one you always wish you had somewhere to wear it again but never had that opportunity, well hear it was, hence "Frockalicious".

Since the original planning phase and discussions with friends and their husbands, there was an overwhelming interest from the men to be involved.  From a little garden tea party, this has now grown to "The Frockalicious Black Tie Ball".

As the Otis Foundation was originated in Mandurang and we are also fortunate enough to have our home here, I wanted to hold the evening also within the local district.

On March the 17th, 2012 the Sedgwick Public Hall will be the venue for the first ever Frockalicious Black Tie event.  Wear that dress you already own.  If you are even the slightest bit tempted to go out and buy a new dress, please don't.  Perhaps consider what you would have spent on a new dress and donate towards this worthwhile charity.

Tickets are $25.00 each, BYO alcohol, glasses and a supper plate to share.  There will be a live band, raffles, prizes and one of the best nights you've had in a long time.  A courtesy bus has been arranged for pick up from within Bendigo to take you directly to the event and return to Bendigo at the end of the ball.

For tickets, or more information, please phone Frankie on 03 54396167 or email wofo@bigpond.com

Immense thanks must go to CR Martin Real Estate, Central Victorian Office Supplies, Bendigo Party Hire, Christians Bus Service, SPA 11, The Wine Bank, Allawah Bendigo, Bunja Thai, The Complete Garden, Mandurang Valley Wines, Nick Truscott, Bendigo World of Flowers, The Eternal Vase, Motherson Elastomers, Variety Superstore Party Supplies, Oz Candles, Indulge Chocolates, Soaps by Jules, Bamboo Beauty Lounge, Raw Organic & Natural Beauty, Brazilian Beauty, Tracy The Placement People, Bendigo Magazine and Crown Melbourne Limited who have all very kindly donated towards the night.

Look forward to seeing you there.
