Story
The Mother's Day Classic Fun Run
LJ Hooker Menai and Ramsgate Beach are supporting the Bay Babes to raise money for research into the prevention and cure of breast cancer. All the donations go directly to the Bay Babes.
My story
On 5 April 2013, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I now personally understand how important it is to raise money so that other women will not experience breast cancer in the future.
I can't run or walk this year myself, so my friend at work, Natasha, has agreed to run for me in the Mother's Day Classic Fun Run on Sunday May 12 in the Domain. Other members of our LJ Hooker team will also participate on the day.
I've been fortunate to be involved with and have the support of the Bay Babes. There's nothing good about having cancer but if I can help to raise awareness and funds for those about to experience what I've been going through, then I'll feel better.
Please help us by donating here and let your friends and family know about this important event. For more information, go to the Bay Babes website www.baybabes.com.au
Thanks,
Shelley
