Hi Everyone
Just a reminder that I am using November to raise money for Noble Endeavours to build a birthing clinic in the remote tribal area of Dato Sandongan, Mindanao. This clinic is crucial as the mortality rate for women at birth in the remote indigenous regions of Mindanao is extremely high.
Inaccessibility and lack of personnel are the main factors that contribute to Mindanao having one of the highest Maternal Mortality Rates in the country
We are in discussions with the local government to build a clinic with full time midwife and nurse, multiple birthing rooms, nursery and medical clinic.
I challenge all my friends to help me raise a minimum of $1000.00 towards this clinic attached to the Community Centre. Dig deep and surprise me!!!

Noble Endeavours Community Development (Global Development Group - J490)
The aim of the project is to provide purified water, education, health, dental care and employment opportunities for the community of Minuyongan Village in central Mindanao. The first completely free school was established in 2008 and our plan is to continue adding to this school until a full primary school and high school exist in the region. Health and dental services have also been established. The first water purification plant has recently been installed providing pure water – another first in the region. Australian Project Manager Ian McKay is helping to build sustainable communities and bringing political and economic stability to this isolated tribal community.
Noble Endeavours is proud to be a partner for Project J490 Noble Endeavours Community Development Project with Global Development Group (ABN 57 102 400 993), an Australian DFAT approved Non Government Organisation carrying out quality humanitarian projects with approved partners and providing aid to relieve poverty and provide long term solutions.
Global Development Group takes responsibility of the project according to DFAT rules providing a governance role and assisting in the areas of planning, monitoring, evaluating and auditing to ensure the projects are carried out to DFAT requirements. If projects are overfunded, funds may be directed towards other approved project activities.
