The Philippines Medical Mission Trip (PMMT) is a volunteer trip organized by Full Gospel Assembly Melbourne. With a team of roughly 40 participants this year, including doctors, dental professionals and other non-medical staff, we will be spending a week in two impoverished areas near Manila, Philippines providing free medical and dental services to those in need. We aim to provide care to at least 2,500 people during our visit as well as assess and provide for the needs of the local orphanage. 

As a team, we are looking to raise a total of $35,000 to fund the necessary medical, dental, optical and other supplies to operate our pro-bono clinics and provide the highest level of care and treatment possible for each and every patient. 

It doesn't cost much to provide basic healthcare in the Philippines and every single dollar will undoubtedly have a lasting impact on the lives of those living in poverty. To put things into perspective, here is an approximate indication of the potential impact that your donation will have:

$25 - provides necessary medication for 5 patients

$50 - provides correct vision/sight for 10 people

$100 - provides medication for 10 patients and glasses for 10 people

It is important to note that 100% of the funds raised (not including administrative charges by Go Fundraise platform) will go directly to the cause itself, as each of our volunteers pay our own way and do not take from any donations received.
