Story
Hi there! I am the CEO of COTA Tasmania. We are here to support older Tasmanians across a wide range of issues.
I'm making a difference and raising money to support our work at COTA.
On Friday, June 14th 2019, which is the eve of World Elder Abuse Awareness Day - we will be taking to the streets again to raise awareness of elder abuse and taking a stand against abuse. Please come and join us - if you cannot be there consider donating to my page as I will be fundraising for COTA on this day as well.
Donations help to ensure there is someone on the phone to answer your call or to be a friendly face when you visit our office or attend events and consultations in the community.
It can also help us to improve our office systems so we can adopt efficient cloud-based IT systems to be more effective in what we do. It allows us to conduct research into issues important to older people in Tasmania and run innovative programs such as our street art project "Piecing it together".
Donations made through this platform are secure and will be remitted directly through to my charity of choice.
