Story
Hey everyone,
Adrian Caputo and I are both studying nursing at ACU we are currently studying a subject called partnerships in chronicity and have decided to do a 30 km charity walk to raise money for a chosen foundation close to our hearts. We will be doing a walk to help raise funds for the Cerebral Palsy Alliance and hope you will all get behind us in supporting a great cause. We appreciate any amount you are able to donate. The walk will be from Pyrmont to Parramatta on the 12th June.
5 years ago I met a very special little soilder and sweetheart who totally stole my heart. It is true that unless it is apart of your life or someone close you can rarely understand the gravity, importance or effect of what something like cerebral palsy has on a individual's life. He is a total solider and has overcome so much of what is deemed impossible through a lot of work and love however there are many people who are not as blessed and the foundation does alot to impact on the lives of all these individuals. It is not limited to funding but assists in education.
We really hope you can open up your hearts and minds and donate for such a special cause.

Your support really will be life-changing for a person living with cerebral palsy and will help us build futures for kids and adults living with cerebral palsy.
The money you help us raise will help us provide world-class services for people living with a broad range of disabilities, and their families - and support them in connecting and engaging them with their communities.
Here’s some examples of how your fundraising helps kids and adults living with cerebral palsy, and their families.
2300 will help provide a speech generating device for a computer, so people living with cerebral palsy can communicate with friends and family.
1495 will help provide wheelchair ramps to enable kids and adults with cerebral palsy to access their community
414 will help provide switch toys for our therapists to help build children’s motor skills
267 will help purchase an iPad with specialised apps to help people living with cerebral palsy connect with friends and family
154 could help customise a wheelchair for a child with cerebral palsy, providing independence and the opportunity to play with their friends.
