Story
Dear friends
In August 2018 I'm heading to Nepal to trek to a remote area near the Tibetan border. I'm raising funds for children in Upper Mustang. I'm reaching out to you for communities that do it tough. My aim is to personally raise $1,000, and our group aims to raise $7,000 to support a small school in the remote village of Chosar and a few other communities along the way, including a nunnery for young girls in Tsarang. I’m appealing to my friends & colleagues for support via my gofundraise page.
Donations made through this platform are secure and will be remitted directly through to my charity of choice.

The World Expeditions Foundation (WEF) is the not-for-profit entity of the World Expeditions Travel Group.
It is the aim of the World Expeditions Travel Group to integrate ‘regenerative’ projects into every one of our global operations by 2030 and raise funds through the World Expeditions Foundation to support these projects. Incorporated on 21 September 2007, World Expeditions Foundation Ltd ABN 36 127 619 925 (WEF) operates as a not-for-profit partner of World Expeditions Travel Group Pty Ltd ABN 98 001 424 568. On 3 March 2014, WEF was registered by the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission.
The World Expeditions Foundation operates with a tight philosophy of ensuring that all donations are channelled in full to the projects. The board members all volunteer their time to operate the project, while the financial management is handled internally by the World Expeditions finance team. With this structure, there are no administration fees.
Donations are tax deductible for residents of Australia.
