Helping Mission Australia assist vulnerable young Australians
Story
Support Mission Australia, Westpac Group's long term community partner, as their CEO James Toomey and his team raise funds to launch Missionbeat Northern Territory, to help vulnerable young Australians.
We're aiming to raise AUD$10,000 (including matching gifts) so please give what you can and make sure you drop by the Westpac Place foyer on Friday 25 May between 12pm and 2pm to see James busking his way to the target!
How Westpac Group employees can donate
Payroll Giving
Select the Give via Workplace Giving tab above - choose Westpac from the drop down list and sign into Good2Give (Westpac's workplace giving provider) - to make your donation directly from your next pay and it will be immediately matched through Westpac Group's Matching Gifts program.
Credit Card or PayPal
Alternately, you can select the donate tab above and donate via credit card or PayPal and your donation will be matched later in the year through Westpac Group's Matching Gifts program.
If you have friends or family who would like to donate, just share this page and they can also donate by credit card and PayPal.
In person
Come down to the Westpac Place foyer on Friday 25 May from 12pm-2pm to see James busking and make your donation via card using our $5 and $10 tap n go machines or throw some coins in the guitar case!
About Westpac's partnership with Mission Australia
For more than 150 years, Mission Australia has been working to support people nationwide by combatting homelessness and assisting disadvantaged families and children battling with mental health issues and substance dependence.
With a community partnership that spans almost two decades, Westpac and WIB have supported Mission Australia in its mission to help Australians in need.
For the last eight years, Westpac and WIB have joined forces to sponsor the community organisation’s Missionbeat outreach service in Sydney, which provides help to homeless people in the inner city area.
With services in Sydney and Brisbane, as well as specialist Youthbeat services on the road in Perth and Hobart, the organisation is raising funds to set up the fifth service in the Northern Territory to help assist vulnerable young people in the area.
