Story
Hi Everyone,
Our beautiful mother; Julie was diagnosed in October 2011 with Motor Neurone Disease.
MND is a disease which attacks the nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord which causes muscle movement such as walking, talking, eating and breathing. Gradually the muscles wear away which causes paralysis and eventual death from breathing failure.
One person dies everyday from MND with another being diagnosed, there is no known treatment or cure.
Julie is only 55 years of age, although MND is more common in people over 50 years of age is it not uncommon for younger people to be affected by this disease, as there are known children's cases.
Julie is a loving wife who has four daughters, and four grand children who she adores dearly.
She is a wonderful, loving and kind hearted person who has worked tirelessly to support her family.
We would want for more than anything to find a cure to beat this disease, but desperately need your help, in raising more awareness and funds to find a cure for this incureable disease.
Please show us your support by donating to our fundraiser "TEAM ZOCH".
All money raised will go straight to the Motor Neurone Disease Research Team, every little bit counts and we would be forever grateful.
Thank you
Greg, Julie, Jody, Kelly, Stacey and Kimmy xx
P.S. Feel free to share this with your friends and family to raise more awareness.
