Help me Get to the North Pole to raise awareness and research funds for Bipolar Disorder. The Bipolar Expedition is an exciting adventure that involves two treks- the North Pole in April 2009 and the South Pole in Nov 2009.16 people across Australia have been selected and a camera crew will accompany both expeditions with footage to be made into a documentary. Emma Boucher a Psychologist based on the Gold Coast and Northern Rivers is going to the last degree of latitude of the North Pole with a group of others that have been touched by bipolar through family, friends or work or their own experiences.

The Bipolar Expedition
THEBIPOLAREXPEDITION is a not-for-profit initiative aimed at building a new awareness about the issues facing people with Bipolar Disorder and to raise funds to give grants for vital research into the causes and more effective diagnosis. THEBIPOLAREXPEDITION holds a number of events focused around Bipolar Disorder and will go to the ‘ends of the earth for sufferers’, literally. Two teams are embarking on a documented trek of the ‘last degree’ of latitude to the North and South Poles.
