A Knot so Dreadful Fundraiser

Story

Hi all,

For the last 12 years I have been sporting this fine wad of hair upon my head. Over time it has changed colour, length, style and odour, but now the sheep atop my crown will change the lives of others.

It is not an easy task for me to say goodbye to my dreadlocks, infact, I have become rather attached. Some might say I am as attached to them as they are to me. It would certainly soften the blow of having to display my potentially oddly shaped bald head to the world if I knew there was a good cause behind the de-dreading.

It would be super fantastic if you could support my cranium unveiling and make a tax deductable donation to the very worth Asylum Seeker Resource Centre.

Support for the ASRC is instrumental in helping them to help those fleeing from harm and persecution. Every donation helps ease poverty and hunger, but also provides untold hope.

Thank you for your support! x

ASRC Footscray (Asylum Seeker Resource Centre)

The Asylum Seeker Resource Centre (ASRC) is both a place and a movement.

As an independent not for profit organisation, we are owned and run by our community. Our programs empower people seeking asylum to maximise their own physical, mental and social well-being. As a movement, we mobilise and unite communities to create lasting social and policy change for people seeking asylum in Australia.

We assist over 7,000 people seeking asylum each year from our centres in Footscray and Dandenong, Victoria.
