Story

Hello everyone,

Back in February 2008 myself and 2 others mates were seriously assaulted to the point where I was hospitalised requiring facial reconstruction surgery. That was a very traumatic time for myself and my 2 mates.  During the time of healing and going throuhg the courts all the way to compensation payout, I went through some serious self doubt and esteem issues, but I made it.  Today I am a better person for experiencing that and I want to show other victims of crime that there is life after and its an amazing life at that.  

I am going to be walking the Kokoda Track next year over anzac day with my brother.  I figured why not use that as  chance to fundraise for a worthty cause, as I want to show other victims that you can still succeed in life.  Your generous support will also go to help setup a branch of VOCAL right here in Queensland, something that is really needed.
