Story
August 21st
G'day all,
We've made to Ethiopia and it's been a big few days so far! The people and the kids are amazing, and always, always smiling.
We spent the afternoon visiting the kids in their homes, a very humbling experience. Sister Martha introduced us to a family of four living in a shelter smaller than most garden sheds. The one room is where they sleep, cook, wash up and escape the rain. The family were so excited to see Geoff that they made us coffee and lunch. They have so little but gave so much to show their thanks.

We're so happy to have reached our primary fundraising goal and are now keen to push further and raise even more for these amazing kids. $10 here, $20 there - any amount you can spare is greatly appreciated. Afterall, can kids ever really have enough books?

G'day all,
In August, I'm heading to Ethiopa and Nepal to see the amazing work of Beyond the Orphanage (BTO). BTO work to place at-risk orphans with families to help them become self-reliant adults. I'll be travelling with good mate and BTO founder Geoff Hucker as we visit the kids. You can learn more about the work of BTO here http://www.beyondtheorphanage.org
We'd like to raise enough money to provide a computer and some books to help the kids in Nepal. We'd appreciate any contribution, big or small. Every cent goes towards the fantastic work that BTO does, helping them expand their reach to the children of Nepal. Donations made through this platform are secure and will be remitted directly through to my charity of choice.

Beyond The Orphanage Foundation
Beyond the Orphanage's (BTO) role is to ensure some of the world's most vulnerable children have access to a loving home, healthcare, educational support and opportunities, which will allow them to become self-sufficient adults.
We work with community partners to make this happen and believe in the power of making the lives of children better together.
BTO is a small international non-profit, is non-denominational and takes care of children of any race, gender and physical or mental ability.
