Story
Hi there!
I am raising money for Surf Life Saving Australia (SLSA) in their time of need. They are a very special organisation working towards their goal to reduce drownings in Australia 50% by the year 2020. I hope to raise enough so that they can purchase valuable supplies to help save more lives.

- First Aid Kit ($400)
- Spinal Board ($500)
- Rescue Board ($1300)
- Defribrillator ($5000)
I was inspired to start a fundraiser after receiving my Bronze Medallion as part of a school project and had learnt about SLSA. I had seen the numerous advertisements on television about the importance of donating to them. I had looked at their donation page which outlined the prices for the different supplies and was astounded at how much they cost and soon made the decision to help them out by encouraging others to donate.
Your donations would be greatly appreciated to help assist the wonderful people helping to keep our beaches and the community safe.

Surf Life Saving Foundation
Surf Life Saving has a proud tradition of saving lives for over 100 years. Since 1907, Surf Lifesavers have volunteered their time and effort to provide a dedicated lifesaving service around the country.
The Surf Life Saving Foundation is the fundraising body for Surf Life Saving in Australia. We rely heavily on the support from the community to continue providing a vital service and keeping our beaches safe.
Saving life, protecting life, promoting life. Surf Life Saving epitomises the lifestyle, values and beliefs of the Australian culture.
Every time you make that conscious decision to swim between the red and yellow flags or take your family and friends to a patrolled beach, you are using the volunteer service.
The beach is free but actively providing this lifesaving service does cost, and with limited funds from Government it really is community donations that keep us afloat. Everyday Australians can help, and every day we will save lives. Help volunteer Surf Life Savers continue to put life first.
