Story
Hey there!
I'm thrilled to share that I'll be part of the Philippines Medical Mission Trip (PMMT) team, organised by my local church, Full Gospel Assembly Melbourne. We're heading to Manila to provide free medical, dental, and optical care in two impoverished communities. It's a big endeavour with a big heart: our team of 40, including doctors, dentists, and volunteers like me, aims to reach at least 2,500 people in need, not to mention supporting a local orphanage.
What's My Part?
Although I'm not a medical professional, I'll be helping to keep things running smoothly on the ground and running a kids program to ensure they have a great time while their families receive care. It's a new challenge for me, but I'm eager to contribute and make a real difference. I love that we'll be partnering with local churches to reach out and provide support to the community.
How You Can Help Make an Impact
We're shooting for a goal of $35,000 to cover all our bases—medical supplies, treatments, glasses, hospital costs (for the seriously ill) and orphanage supplies. Our team is deeply committed to this cause; all volunteers, including myself, are covering our own travel and living expenses, ensuring that 100% of your donations go towards medical supplies. Your support can go a long way. Just to give you an idea:
$25 could provide essential medication for 5 people.
$50 will ensure 10 people can see the world more clearly with new glasses.
$100 could supply medication for 10 people and provide glasses for another 10.

Prayer
Beyond financial support, we'd love for you to keep us in prayer, and follow us along our journey. Here’s how you can support us spiritually:
Humility: Pray for our hearts to stay humble, recognizing every success as God’s work through us.
Boldness: Ask for courage to share the gospel fearlessly, trusting in God’s strength over our own.
Divine Encounters: Seek God-orchestrated moments for us to be His hands and feet, meeting people exactly where they’re at.
Lasting Impact: Hope with us that our efforts lead to enduring change, nurturing seeds of faith and community long after our return.
