Story
Hello,
I'm putting on my walking shoes to help make a difference and provide support to a local charity - MIraa House [ www.miraahouse.org ]. Miraa House is a learning life skill centre for women over 17 years of age, with an intellectual disability. Miraa House has a day program, where women learn every day life skills to help them become more independent, at home and in the community.
I'm joining my friend, DDK (Donna Kent) and other fabulous women to walk the Brisbane Valley Rail Trek in support of Miraa House. On 7 July, I'll be walking - Esk to Fernvale - 44.5 km. If you can, please make a (tax deductible) donation, no matter how big or small, and together we'll make a difference through our support of Miraa House.
