Story
Hello and Welcome, I hope you have been having a wonderful day full of happiness and joy.
My name is Ryan James Vince. I'm writing this to kindly request your help.
On October 5th 2014, I fractured the back of my skull about 100mm long. My brain racked and bled inside the front left, I lost my sense of smell, which may return back to normal in up to two years time. This was a very hard and difficult time in my life the recovery process has be long and challenging, but very life changing.
It has shown me how lucky I truly am to be alive and how lucky I am to be able to function normally. It has given me even more inspiration to help out others in any possible way and guide everyone I can in a positive way.
Please read my story on what I will be doing that is going to change not only my life, but the lives of men, women and children in a very positive way.
In September I am heading to SEIM REAP in CAMBODIA for two weeks along side 11 teachers/builders and 33 existing students of Australian industry technical college (The high school I graduated from in 2009)
There is nothing more satisfying in my life than helping out in any way shape or form, no matter how big or small the tasks may be. Being able to give and ask nothing in return is my nature that I have received from my Beautiful Mother. I feel so blessed that I have been given the opportunity to be able to help out a 3rd world country that unfortunately aren't as well of as us and struggle to survive. I am a qualified carpenter by trade and I am studying my cert 4 to become a qualified builder. This chance to guide/run the younger AITC Students in Cambodia on this journey is simply amazing. I will be leading a group of 6 (5 students 1 Teacher) building homes for these local people.
When we arrive in Seim Reap, we will be buying all the tools required to build 2-4 houses for the local families (hopefully two days each house) and the tools required to renovate a local medical centre. Once we finish the construction work on these 3-5 projects, we will be donating all tools to the community and a Large Amount of money so they can have the tools and money to build there when we leave.
Whilst in Cambodia we will also be assisting as teacher aides in a local school of 800 students, providing them with basic knowledge in carpentry, hairdressing, plumbing, English, life skills etc. We have different groups made up to do different tasks for these people. Including haircuts for the local communities, clearing all head lice, any problems with their hair and making their head healthy again. We will be providing food (rice) to poor families that struggle to have meals on a daily basis. With Your help this can happen, you will be assisting in donating tools, money, food, building materials, life Guidance, improving their chance of survival and pretty much helping the lives of these people living in SIEM REAP in CAMBODIA. I couldn't think of anything that would warm my heart and change my life in such a positive way as much as this experience will and I need your help to do so.
I am asking for the help of other people, I'm asking for the help of YOU. With a Donation to this cause so I can make this project happen and help so many lives in another country.
I’d appreciate any contribution, it could be $10, $20, $30, $50, $100, $250, $500 It would mean the world to me and to the wonderful people of SIEM REAP it would be greatly appreciated. I will keep you informed on all the progress leading up to this event and the progress we have made whilst over there showing you what you have helped to create for people in CAMBODIA. Of course a view of the final product and how many lives we have touched. All of the photos will be posted of the trip, to show you how much your contribution to this cause has helped these people.
Donations made through this platform are secure and will be remitted directly through to my charity of choice (newhopecambodia).
Thank you so so much and I'm so proud that you have considered to help me change so many lives in another country <3 If You cannot afford to donate, you can still help me by kindly Share This link/page to Your Friends, Families, businesses and general public.
If you would like me to send you through information about the project, contact me via email or mobile.
